An Uncle, Grandmother, or maybe a Cousin?
My aunt has had a good list or good cars:
- Red 2008 BMW 328i Convertible
- Silver 2004 BMW 325i Convertible
- Red 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra
- Green 1984 Chevy Camaro RS
These are just the ones I know of, there could be more.
I guess having a husband that works in the Defense Division of Boeing allows you to drive nice cars.

HAhahahah.
Me and its not even close. What do I drive? not that important. What is important is that everyone in my family drives a Camry, and has always driven a Camry. Ok that's a lie, my brother drives a Corolla these days. It replaced his Camry.

Hands down, my dad. Hopefully I can one-up him by the time I'm his age.
1955 Buick
(several) 1965/1966 Shelby Cobras (289 and 427 models)
1968 Ford Fairlane Cobra Jet
1969 Mustang GT350 Fastback
It digressed from there, but he's got so many jalop points just from the Cobras, Fairlane and Mustang, the rest can't affect the score.

No one in my family really does either, but none of them really have a boring car. The most boring I can think of is a Toyota Tundra or a Buick Century.

I wish i came from a cool car family. Everything i know about the automobile i pretty much had to find out on my own. I'm honestly the only person in my family that likes them, and it's been a lifelong obsession for me.
Not that my family doesn't kick ass in other ways, just that I am kinda sad i never learned to work on cars with my dad.

My Aunt & Uncle. My Uncle right now has a brand new 991 911, 7 speed manual. Looks kinda like that one but also has a blacked out roof (I lost the few pics I had of it to a hard drive failure). Amazing looking and driving car. My Aunt right now has a light blue (kinda meh color), manual, BMW 4 series. My Aunt, for as long as I can remember, has only driven stick. My Uncle has mainly had manuals, but has had the occational automatic. They lease their cars and get new ones so much that I can't list all of them here lol. But they have all been awesome!

My uncle has had several 240 and 280zs when he was younger, that he apperently ran jet fuel in, as well as a Chevelle drag car that had rolled, and a few Corvettes. One of his C4 Corvettes has N2O it was scary fast, or at least it seemed like it was when I was 11. He also had a Maverick Grabber, but that was my Mom's before it was his, and I'm sure there is lots of cars he's had that I don't know about I'm not very close to that side of my family, geographically, or emotionally.

Why thank you! fun fact about the escort. Since this was in South Africa, the car's VIN numbers were filed off, but not the engine's. Turns out, engine was out of a Ford Scorpio! I don't know what displacement, but I do know my stepdad bolted on a starter from a 2.4L opel engine after the ford's died, and it worked just fine!

Most of my family knows about cars, but aren't obsessed with it. I mean, I have an uncle that drive a Dodge Nitro, another drives a new Buick Regal, and I have a cousin that drives a G8 GT. So it's nice to know they have good tastes in cars.
I'm lucky to have a dad that was a mechanic for some time and refuses to pay someone else to work on our cars, so I've been learning how to work on cars since I was about 4.

It is likely me. Well, myself and my brother, but I've owned more than he has.
Cars my parents have owned since the mid 90s:
1995 Dodge Intrepid
1995 Ford Explorer
1997 Infiniti I30t
1999 Infiniti QX4
2000 VW New Beetle
2003 Lincoln Navigator
Now here's what I've owned, since I got my first car in 2003:
2003 Infiniti G35 6MT
1999 Mercedes-Benz E300TD
2007 BMW Z4
1995 Ford F-150
2013 Mini Clubman S
My brother has a 2000 Audi S4. Between us, we have had more interesting cars than our parents.

I'm happy (or sad, considering my limited finances for most of my life) to say I'm tied with my dad for the lead.
V8 Olds Cutlass, '82 Bronco, Corolla (let's just ignore that one), FD RX7, NB Miata, RSX-S, and my trusty ol' current Sexy Wrexy.
My dad had a Hemi 'Cuda and a sweet Monte back in the day, but he's tapered off since then. A Bravada sealed his fate in a tie for 2nd. Although I will always give him props for waiting for the Fox body back in'79 even though it meant making a beater car last way too long ("A Mustang II is a girl's car.").

In recent years my grandparents have settled for the typical Camry or Sable, but when I was a kid they had a second gen SHO, like pictured, as well as a first gen Probe GT (turbo, jet black, red interior), also like pictured but with no decal, and when I was reaaaaaaaally little they had a brown, three-on-the-tree, 197x Dodge Ram Van.

I don't know all of the details, but I do know that my father owned the following:
1. 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T (4 of them! Most of them were modified, and one was practically insane)
2. Multiple C3 Corvettes (1969-1977, a variety of engines)
3. 80s/early 90s Ford F150
4. Series 1 1971 Datsun 240z
5. 1980 Datsun 280ZX 5-speed (and a few parts cars)
6. 80s Ford Bronco
7. Plymouth Fury (like the movie Christine)
8. Newish Nissan Pathfinder
9. Mustang Cobra II (late 70s)
These are just the ones I know about (confirmed pictures or seen in person) there are countless others that I'm sure I haven't heard about, including many trucks, some other muscle cars, and many, many parts cars.

2014 Nissan Leaf, brown
Some sort of smaller, newer pickup (Tacoma, Ranger, or similar)

I can't remember what happened, but I think 1 was sold, 2 hit by drunk drivers, and the last one was crashed when someone borrowed it, but my memory is hazy.
Many of them were modified and his first was an 850HP beast.

Lessee:
First, I'd say my parents, because when I was a kid in the 70's they had a '68 Firebird with a 350 (2BBL; Dad had to have the 4BBL taken out because he was using too much gas). That was traded in for a '77 Cordoba, thus sharply ending his run of having the best car.
Then, I guess it goes to me: Had a 280ZX and a first gen 300ZX Turbo. The 280 was my first sports car and my first manual, so it took a beating. The 300 was used up when I got it; an infusion of cash helped for a while, but then it developed ignition problems. I got a 4WD Tacoma after that, which I still own - a fine vehicle, but not performance oriented. The same goes for my XC70 (Wagons FTMFW, indeed).

If we're counting live-ins too, it's pretty close between my dad and CrzRsn, both of whom have Mustangs of different vintages with dad edging him out because motorcycles, jetskis, dirtbikes, a snowmobile, and an RV. My grandpa used to have an MGB as well, but I don't remember many details because I was very young when he sold it.

For those interested in that he's had a Cessna 172 Aerobatic, Vans RV4, and a 1946 Piper J3 Cub. Now he owns another 172, a Vans RV8, and is currently building a Bearcat.

Opinions I guess... But I have owned
from 95-99 a 1969 Chevy Belair 327
97-06 a 1998 Pontiac Firebird. . lot of custom stuff done to it
04-09 a 2005 Chrysler 300C. . even more custom stuff than the firebird (drunk driver took this car's life)
2012 - ...... a 2005 BMW 325Ci convertible... . . still playing with it. don't like factory
.. My uncle however owns about 10 or so Mercedes SLs, a Hummer H1 and H2, a 84 Cadillac Eldarado convertible Biarittz (what u know about that) . . a new Range Rover and new F250, multiple motor bikes including a BMW and a Ducati 999 (he doesn't ride and no one is allowed to touch the bikes) he has an 80s Vette and an old RR, don't know the year... ... not sure what all he has cause he never gets rid of a vehicle. He also owns a $500k motor home and a $2million 120' yacht.
.. one cousin has always had convertible Mercedes and she currently has a CLK 55 AMG
another cousin has always had cadillacs and currently has a XLR-V and an Escalade
The other had a GMC Cyclone, H1, C4 Vette, F650, F250, Audi Q7 and whatever else.
my mom hates cars and currently has a Hyundai Sonata turbo, but when I was a kid she did have a brand new 240SX, Fox body mustang, and a 2 door Bronco that was pretty sweet.

My grandpa (mom's dad) has had and still has a bunch of nice old cars and muscle cars, but the best cars he's had IMO are a yellow Lamborghini Miura P400 for a short while back in the mid-'70's (well before my time, unfortunately), a lighter blue '03 Bentley Arnage R that he sold a few years ago, and a dark blue '10 Bentley Continental GT coupe that he still has.

Well, I'd say my E28 trumps everyone else but that's just me.
Truthfully my whole family sucks at buying cars because only a few of them care about cars at all and they don't care enough to actually buy interesting ones (and who can blame them, they need to be responsible), so there isn't much to report. My dad used to like cars, before he decided MDXs were the only vehicle he'd ever drive ever again. Had a GS400, black-black with the big wheels, the wing, xenons, Nakamichi sound, and that's it I think. Was also considering an S4 wagon, of course I only found out later. Before that he had a first-gen GS300, that thing was cool. Before that, there were a string of Acura Legends, 4 in total. One was a first-gen silver 2 door with a stick and cloth seats. Got dropped on 3 spoke wheels with a Supertrap exhaust. That thing was amazing and to this day I'd love to buy it back from whoever bought it back in the day. At one point in time there was talk of an Audi wagon back in the mid-90s, also Jag sedans, lots of cool stuff. Ultimately though, he gave in to the practical side. Hoping to break the mold here once my career takes off.

Man oh man.
My father owned an AMC Javelin and a Citroen SM (I think he had an SM).
My grandmother owns a 1941 International KB, a Crown Vic and a '94 DeVille. The Intie started two months ago for the first time in 20 years.
My uncle 1 owns/owned a Volvo P1800, three or four Volvo Amazons, a Saab wagon, and a dozen 240s (sedans, coupes and a brown diesel wagon). They mostly don't work.
My uncle 2 owns a 1946 International KB, a first-gen Jag XJ6 in luscious, patina'd purple, an International Harvester, a VW Bus, and twenty other vehicles, mostly trucks. They mostly don't work.
Finally, my brother owns/owned/co-owns an Alfa Brera, a Trabant, a Jag Sovereign, an '80s Lincoln limousine imported from Canada to Poland, an old Polish bike, a Peugeot 106 GTI imported from Libya and half a dozen Polonezes. Some of them work, on a good day.
When I am of the age to own a car, I fully intend on buying a Polonez and modifying it in the bosozoku style. But for now, my brother wins.
